First games of 2016
Your local Winston-Salem Wolfhounds GAA is playing it’s first games of the year this Saturday (May 7th 2016) at the Intramural soccer field at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) starting at 10.30am (WSSU, 601 South Martin Luther King Junior Drive, Winston-Salem, NC).
The team has been training very hard since the early January this year and your support is welcomed and appreciated. This will be a great chance to see how the team is doing this year as we compete against one of our local state rivals Raleigh GAA. It is going to be a great contest where new and existing players will show case their Gaelic Football skills. There will be an after party at our sponsor Finnigan’s Wake Irish Pub, 620 Trade St NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 starting between 1.30-2pm, so come support one of our sponsors and meet and greet the team over a pint and some food as well.
